After my 2 week promo tour with Joey I started to feel pain in my throat from talking too much. As soon as I came home I went to see my doctor and he said that I had damaged my vocal chords and that I had acid reflex (probably from pickles).”

She continued, “He put me on medication and wanted to see me in a few days. When I went back my voice had gotten much worse. He then told me that I had to cancel my shows and be on vocal rest for a week. I felt so horrible that I couldn’t perform. I begged the doctor to give me more medication to last me through these shows, he said if I went I could lose my voice completely and have permanent damage. I had to give up and agree to not go but I WILL make it up.”

The 22-year-old California native is in talks to star in The Lucky One, according to Variety.

Based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks, the film centers on a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq and attributes his good fortune to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met. He sets out to meet his good-luck charm when he returns to North Carolina.

In addition, New York Mag also reports that Zac is interested in another project called Die in a Gun Fight, from recent NYU grads Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.

The paper reports about the script, “In the Tarantino-esque blend of Gossip Girl, True Romance and Romeo and Juliet, Efron would play Ben, an underachieving, deadbeat son of a famous New York high society attorney who gets himself in over his head when he falls for the daughter of his father’s nemesis - a girl who is already busy being stalked by an obsessive French professor.”

Even though the Teen Choice Awards aren’t airing until August 9, Justin Bieber is already a winner. While at a concert in Glendale, Arizona Monday night, the teen singing sensation was surprised on stage by Shaquille O’Neal. Not only did Shaq announce that Bieber won an award, he actually won four.

Shaq and Justin were in the same city initially to film an appearance for the NBA star’s upcoming season of “Shaq Vs.”, where the two were scheduled to perform some sort of dance-off. (The show premieres on Tuesday, August 3.)

Justin also teased a number of photos from the appearance on his Twitter account, and verified to fans just how he surprised he was by receiving the awards. (He won’t be able to attend the actual ceremony due to his tour.)

A certain fellow 'California Gurl' helped in the making of Selena's next album which is currently titled 'A Year Without Rain.'

Selena recently revealed, "Katy Perry gave me a song, and she did background vocals on it. The whole experience was really fun."

I'll bet! Unfortunately, those were all the details she gave on the Perry collab, but she did give us some more details on the album.

"The title so far of my album - I mean, I'm hoping it will stick - is A Year Without Rain," Gomez said. "It's basically one of my favorite songs on the record. It's kind of got a more feel-good dance beat and feel. I love it. It's different; [it] kind of shows my growth of my music. There's a song called 'Intuition' that's one of my favorites. The message is basically every decision that you regret or second-guess, [just] do it [anyway]. I love that message so much."

We're all excited to see Justin Bieber in an upcoming episode of CSI and now we're getting more details on his episode!

CBS says that Justin will play "Jason McCann, a "troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother - a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs," they also revealed that his arc would conclude later in the season.

After Justin's shooting wrapped he tweeted, "Amazing day ... excited for you guys to get to watch it ... and yes i did prank the EP of the show ... somebody got locked in the closet. ;)"

Joe Jonas only narrowly avoided an awkward moment with his ex Demi Lovato on the red carpet at the Do Something Awards last night, reports Daily Mail. The ex-lovers knew they would be attending together for months in advance but after they split in May they knew it would be tense.

Joe only arrived to meet the press after Demi finished walking the carpet. During the show, both Demi and Joe separately took to the stage to present awards, so at least Joe got to admire Demi's glamorous outfit.

Joe told MTV: 'We're looking really forward to our toue. I'm excited to get onstage again and perform, get ramped up with that again. We're going to be bringing a lot of our friends from 'Camp Rock' on tour, which will be fun. And also, there might be a couple [surprise guests] here and there; artists that might pop in, but we haven't really said anything too much yet.
I think they'll just [be a] surprise and come onstage. We have a lot of buddies in the music industry that just kind of are always around hanging out onstage. We'll call them up, and they'll maybe play a song with us or something like that.'
